FKAFL: Same Strain, New Name

Today, we would like to inform our community about our recent decision to change the name of our most popular, sought-after strain to FKAFL (Formerly Known as F.L.). As many of you may have already heard, we received a cease-and-desist letter from a well-known restaurant of the same name, and we decided to respectfully retire the name.

This award-winning cross of L.A. Rouge and The Soap had a remarkable year, winning several cannabis competitions throughout 2023. F.L.’s accolades include First place in Indoor Flower at the Farmers Cup, multiple wins at the West Coast Zalympix for Best Looking and Most Unique, a noteworthy Second place at the 2023 High Times Cannabis Cup and Transbay Challenge, and an impressive Fourth place for Indoor cannabis at The Emerald Cup.

We understand that this news may surprise some of our loyal customers who have grown fond of the name "F.L." At Maven Genetics, we know that our community is passionate about our products, and we want to assure you that the quality, flavor, and potency of FKAFL are just as exceptional.

While initially disappointed by the news, we quickly realized this was an opportunity to show our unwavering dedication to our customers. With a diverse collection of new strains on the horizon, many of which are the descendants of the esteemed F.L., we are confident that these cultivars will proudly carry on the legacy, and we can't wait to introduce them to our connoisseur community.

We are committed to informing you about any changes or updates to our product line so you can enjoy your favorite strains confidently. While the retirement of F.L. was unexpected, we are excited to move forward with FKAFL and continue to provide consumers with the highest-caliber cannabis available.

We are so grateful for the unwavering support of our customers, fans, and supporters who share our passion for this remarkable strain. To find more details, check out our latest Forbes article below:
